The Willard Fund
There is a little known fact that there is financial assistance for the cost of hockey for anyone who could use the help.
Lake Region Hockey has a fund set up to financially assist members from Mounds View and Irondale hockey associations.
Lake Region will pay up to $300 of ice costs per child with a maximum of $500 per family. To qualify you must write a letter stating that you could use assistance and why. State the level of play of your child or children, name of team along with your manager's name and address. Put the letter in an envelope and mail to the address below. If multiple children you only need to write one letter.
Applications can take as much as 4 months to process so if you are in need of financial assistance applications must be postmarked no later than November 30th.
Your name and needs stay strictly confidential within Lake Region Hockey and by your team manager.
