Welcome to the 2009-2010 season

Welcome to the 2009-2010 hockey season. On behalf of the Mounds View Youth Hockey board we would like to thank you for your willingness to coach a team this season. Please know we appreciate all the time and energy you will put into running your team.  If you have any questions or need any assistance during the season, please do not hesitate to contact one of us.

Online Registration

Before you can be added to your team’s official roster, you will need to register online. You will be registering with Mounds View and USA Hockey. The registration for USA Hockey requires a $ 40 fee. This fee will be refunded by the Association.  Managers are only required to register with Mounds View.  They do not have to register with USA hockey.

After you have registered, send an email to Bill Zerfas, MVYHA Treasurer, indicating you have registered as a coach or assistant coach and the team you are coaching- zerfasfamily@yahoo.com.  You will need to provide Bill with an address to mail your refund to.

If you are currently registered as a coach or adult player through USA hockey, and your registration will be valid through the season, you do not need to register again with USA hockey.  Just provide your confirmation number on the appropriate page of the registration process.  If you do not have your confirmation number, you can print another copy of your confirmation page HERE (will open in a new window).  Click on the "Request additional confirmation page" tab on the left hand side of the page.

If you do not already have a user id and password for the Mounds View website, you will be required to create one in order to register.

Coaching Clinics

If you have not obtained the appropriate level for the team you are coaching or your level has expired, will need to attend a coaching clinic. Click on this link to find available clinics-
 
For coaches that need to recertify their level 3, there is an online option available. Click on this link for more information-

CEP Card

You will need to supply a copy of your CEP card for your teams official roster book. If you have lost or misplaced your card, you will need to request a duplicate card. You should also request a duplicate if your card is no longer legible. Click on this link for instructions-
